January Update

Greetings from the Northwest Region, and Happy New Year! We have much to look forward to in 2015. I'm honored to be praying alongside such a great group of prayer warriors! Our theme this month is preparation. "There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord. The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord." Proverbs 21:31. We humbly ask for the Lord's guidance and commit every plan to Him, giving Him all the glory.

Praise for the work God is doing now, for all the pastors and churches that have committed so far and are working hard to bring revival to Staten Island and New York City. Praise for the venues already in place, for the events that are taking shape as we speak, the many meetings that are happening and have already taken place to pave the way.

Pray for the many different events taking place January through May...
•    school assemblies
•    basketball camps with professional NBA athletes
•    outreaches to housing projects with
•    classes on financial stewardship & resume training
•    carnivals for kids
and ask the Lord to provide enthusiastic, Christ centered volunteers to help with all these events!

Pray for a mini-festival planned for Spring where there will be a week of events leading up to an outdoor concert & evangelistic outreach. Pray for planning, for the week of assemblies & activities, and for the concert and where Andrew Palau will likely speak.

Pray for Tom Mueller, his role as Church Relations Director for Staten Island, as well as, Long Island and Westchester County. He has many responsibilities, and we pray for favor for Tom, for the Lord to multiply his time and efforts.  Also for his wife and young children who have relocated to New York City. Pray for their protection, health, quality family time together, and support and encouragement.

Continue to pray for unity and peace in Staten Island, especially in light of recent events and the increase in racial tension.  Pray for understanding and unity between churches and ministries so they can work together in harmony toward common goals. Pray for a shared vision of revival in this region.
"...put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity, and let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace..." Colossians 3:14-15.

Blessings to you,
Kim Grimberg
